Imagine… a quiet historical village made of stones, little mountains and beautiful nature around with a great view of the sea, which is only 20 min drive… This is where we will be living for a week.  Adatepe Village is located on the eastern shore of the Aegean Sea, on the western slopes of Mount Ida, in beautiful Turkey. Due to its long history, houses and surrounding nature is under protection. It is a hidden gem with a great local community. Hunnap Hotel is named from the Jujube tree that has been in the garden for 180 years. The mansion is 300 years and the weather is so nice at this time of the year that we will take all of our meals outside in the lush garden planted of gorgeous big palm trees.

Our retreat will be held in an exclusive part of the Hotel, isolated in the “Palm building” with access to a private pool to ensure intimacy and peace for the duration of your stay. The luxury rooms are decorated with love and possess their own bathroom. You can choose between a private or shared room with one more person.

Nutrition

All meals will be made with dedication by a highly experienced chef from the hotel using local organic ingredients. The menus are elaborated in collaboration with one member of our team who is a yoga teacher specialised in nutrition.

Yoga Style

Kaula Tantra Yoga

Grounding, healing, relaxing, this practice is known for thousands of years in India where the masters found it beneficial to open specifically the 3 first chakras, Muladhara, Svadhistana and Manipura and practice care, and love for ourselves. This yoga series is practiced in a slow and flowing manner to build patience and awareness. Coming back to our inner rythm and truth, to find and stay in our center. The practice is guided giving emphasis to the relaxation and the “let go” of tensions and blockages by focusing on our breath and listening our bodies. Living in a society which asks us to DO always, be productive, be active, be efficient, in Kaula we practice ‘not to do’ , being ‘here and now’.

Meditation Practices

The daily meditation session is here to settle awareness and stillness in your body and in your mind. To do so, our team will combine dynamic and sited meditation depending on the theme for the day.  Our inspirations are the teachings of Osho, the Sufi whirling, Vipassana and Buddhist clues. Silence and stillness will arrive through movement, music and dance. Our sited meditations, taught at the end of the stay, are based on visualisations and observation of the breath.

Sound Healing

The sound healing method that will be used by Timea is called Acutonics. By applying precision-calibrated tuning forks to specific acupuncture points, the healer accesses the chakras and meridian system. It's a kind of a remembrance for the body on how it actually vibrates. The forks sound waves travels deeply into the body. Their resonance connects with and supports the body’s natural frequencies, stimulates and balances the physical and subtle body, promotes deep relaxation and opens up a space for inner transformation.

Massage Work

Our massages will be the sheer pleasure of deep relaxation using oils, music and different bodywork techniques, a profound art for balancing the body and mind.

Excursions in Nature

They will lead us to walking meditation. While putting our feet on the ground, we become mindful of our sensual life experience and open our awareness to the whole.
